Application and Lottery Process

The Detroit Innovation Academy (DIA) is a tuition-free, open-admission public charter school.  Open Enrollment Applications for the 2024-2025 school year will be accepted April 8 - April 26, 2024, Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 4 pm.

Should DIA receive more applications for enrollment then there is space available in any grade, the school will conduct a lottery for admission (June 25, 2024 at 5:30 pm).
